Job Description
X by 2, a solutions architecture consulting firm, is looking for people with a passion for technology and the desire to learn and grow, designing and architecting enterprise solutions.
- Get involved in all phases of a project - discovery through implementation.
- Participate in architecture definition, product selection, and application design.
- Design and develop enterprise class business applications and integration solutions.
- Gain experience on multiple platforms, tools and technologies.
- Work closely with Senior Developers and Architects.

Qualifications
- Design, develop, and test enterprise class business application and integration solutions using Java/J2EE, C#, .Net, VB, Web Services, and XML.
- Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related +1 year experience as Software Engineer, Software Architect, or any related IT occupation.
- Must have experience in Java/J2EE, C#, .Net, VB, Web Services, XML, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase, Postgres, ETL, OLAP, reporting tools Informatica, and Cognos.
- Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
- Experience in P&C, Life, or Health insurance environment preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of design patterns and the ability to apply them.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to conceptualize and articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Some travel may be required, but we have a non-road warrior culture.
